Keeping Austin Weird since the Victorian Era!

Clockwork Con is a 3 day Steampunk convention located in Austin, Texas; filled with guests, vendors and acts from Texas and around the country, this event will be an excellent way to spend the weekend with the turning of gears and the hissing of steam! Everyone is welcome, whether you are a long time enthusiast or new to the scene, come on out and see the wonders of steampunk!

Amid the clanking of gears and the hissing of steam you will find folks decked out in dashing top hats, wonderful gadgets, and an attitude of anything is possible.


Steampunk isn’t quite sci-fi, but it isn’t quite fantasy either; it’s an alternate look at our own history (normally the late 19th century) that harkens back to the works of authors like Jules Verne and H.G. Wells. It’s a setting in which anything can happen and adventure is common, a setting in which there is no “correct” way to be.


These factors make steampunk an appealing genre to explore for writers, crafters, artists, role-players and has now even begun to spill into popular culture. So stop on by our event and immerse yourself in Steampunk!
